I
am a member of the United Schutzhund Clubs of America
SchHIII Club and have trained and titled tfour dogs (1
German Shepherd, 2 Dutch Shepherds, 1 malinois) from no title to SchHIII. I also have a Gold Sports Medal and
Masters Sports Medal with Diamond awarded, for
points achieved through competitions. I have attended
helper seminars and possess a Helper Scorebook issued by SchH USA. I was trained as a Police Dog Instructor
through the Alabama Canine Law Enforcement Officers
Training Center in Tuscaloosa, Alabama and then attended
the State School for Police Service Dog Handlers in
Stukenbrock, Germany, where I trained with my police K9
for 3 months. Following that, I was invited to visit
the K9 training center in Lancashire, England. I was
trained and certified as a Patrol Dog Judge at the Utah
Peace Officers Academy under the direction of Teaching
Judge Wendell Nope. Having retired on March
2, 2007, I can now offer that training and expertise
through FoxTal Training Center.
I HAVE
TITLED THE FOLLOWING DOGS:
Exx vom Heiliger Huegel, AKA: Eros- from no title to
SchH III, DPO, WPO, PSP and also narcotics detection. He
competed several times in the National Championships,
with the police dogs and traveled with me to Germany in
1990 where we trained at the Landes Polizei Schule fur
Diensthundfuhrers. It was there he earned his PSP.
Sofie vom Foxtal- from no title to SchH III,IPO3, FH.
She has her CGC and is a therapy dog. She was 10 x
SchH3, earning one of those at the USA 2000
Championships. She was the 2001 North Central Regional
SchH3 Champion. She was the first SchH3 Dutch Shepherd

U.S. to earn and advanced tracking title and the first
ever to compete in the USA National Championship.

Additionally, I have assisted in training and re-homing
several “rescue” dogs, have supplied narcotic detection
dog prospects to Customs (1) South Dakota State
Police (1) and another that I sold as a narcotics
prospect is presently working for Madison Police
Department. I also offer behavioral consultations and
obedience training.
As President and Training Director of the Fox Valley
Police & Schutzhund Club, I am responsible for the
instruction of a large number of dogs in the areas of
tracking, obedience and protection work. A number of
those handlers have achieved training titles under my
instruction, as a result.
Additionally,as part of our Small Munsterlander breeding
program I have also become involved in training and
competing with those dogs and in 2002 I trialed Atienne
vom Foxtal to earn her NAVHDA Natural Ability Prize2,
107 points. In 2004 I trialed Nicolin's Big Easy to
earn her NAVHDA Natural Ability Prize 2, as well as
Confetti vom Foxtal, who did not prize.
We are active in showing in conformation with the Small

I have
an extensive Law Enforcement Resume available for
review for applicable contracts. I retired as
a Sergeant on the Appleton Police Department after
over 26 years of service.
I
served as a K9 Handler, polygraph examiner,
member of the plainclothes gang and drug unit
(called the Community Intervention Team at that
time), Investigative services office and member of
the Death Investigation Unit, Sensitive Crimes
Investigator, Public Information Officer and Crime
Analyst. I was also provided specialized
training in Statement Content Analysis and forensic
computer examination (EnCase).
For
those Law Enforcement agencies considering
contracting services from private sources, always
keep in mind whether you would want YOUR trainer to
testify on the stand in your defense. Does his
or her resume stand up in comparison to the
professional level you intend to achieve?
