The "A" litter was our first foray into breeding Small Munsterlanders, and set us on new and different course. We knew we had a fine female in our Aryan v. O'Meara/Sengpiel. Not only had we selected her from an outstanding working line, but she had excelled in her NAVHDA training and trials, breaking existing records. And you know what else? She was just a darned nice girl! Very eager to work, willing to bust through any cover, crazy to retrieve and yet so affectionate. Who could ask for more?-- except PUPPIES! We selected Daffy's Benji to sire our "A" litter, and subsequently the "B" litter, as well. At that time, Daffy's Benji was one of only five Small Munsterlanders who have qualified for and competed at the NAVHDA Invitational Championship and had already sired an award winning litter with a full sister to our Aryan. This combination earned a NAVHDA Breeders Award.
