After careful consideration, we chose what we considered to be the best choice in sires for the final breeding of Aryan v O'Meara/Sengpiel. This was  a 3,3 linebreeding on Fero. 

  Fero vom Lohebeeke, when bred to Catja vom Brunnenweg, produced Blitz v Krieger.  These were some of the first small munsterlanders imported to this part of the country, and go back to well known breedings produced by Ned Sengpiel in partnership with Barb Krieger. The sire we have chosen is Gusseisen K Vom Krieger, sired by Blitz v Krieger.  Gus is a very masculine dog and has sturdy conformation and good bone.  He has earned his NAVHDA NA Prize 1 with 112 points and has strong natural hunting drive. In 2003 he earned a UT Prize 2.

 Aryan v. O'Meara/Sengpiel, is our bitch who has whelped two excellent litters for us.  Her sire was Jeiko vom Jakobsbrunnen. Her dam was Blanka v Krieger, produced by Fero and Catja. In reading a German pedigree, the males are always listed first.  Therefore, when we refer to a 3,3 linebreeding it means that the same dog appeared in the third generation on the sire's side and the third generation on the dam's.   However, by returning to the old style German line seen here, we expect to see more bone and a slightly heavier body as well hard-charging hunting temperament.  Observe for yourself, the similarity in type:

We are pleased with the "C" litter results.  They have very nice structure and temperaments. There have been no physical defects reported. One puppy is a working Search and Rescue dog. Three puppies have been tested in NAVHDA, and one earned a Prize 2 in his UT Prep.  In each case, it appears that they are extremely confident and quick, and chose to grab the birds or chase rather than point them.  The evaluation of several professional trainers is that they will make excellent Utility dogs once the pointing is in hand.  All show a strong desire for water work, and strong retrieve.
